Had some time to wonder around downtown yesterday before meeting a friend, so I shot a number of images, most were crap but I ended up with 4 that I liked, above is one of them. The other 3 can be seen on Flickr.
Yesterday I also saw the documentary Manufactured Lanscapes about Edward Burtynsky and the Industrial Landscape. Edward graduated from the same University program as me, and as a result in April 2004 I was invited to a special viewing of his show at the Art Gallery of Ontario, where he gave a short talk on his work and did a casual meet and greet with everyone. The documentary is quite good, and certainly a good view of global industrial growth and it’s affect on the planet.
